Corrections policy

Certification requirements change, and we would rather hear about an error from you than leave it up.

Reporting an error

Email corrections@operation-optimize.com with the page address, the sentence or number you believe is wrong, and — if you have it — a link to the published source that says otherwise. A source link gets a much faster fix.

How we handle it

  • We check the claim against the published source it was drawn from.
  • A confirmed factual error in a requirement or calculation is corrected as a priority, and the same check is run across every other page and calculator that shares the rule.
  • Corrected pages get a new verification date in their byline, so the change is visible rather than silent.
  • A material correction — one that would have changed a reader's decision — is noted on the page itself.

Requirement changes

When the certifying body changes a requirement rather than us misreading one, the page is updated to describe the change and, where the transition matters, both the old and new requirement while the transition is live.
